BLS Certamen

Hi Everyone,

As I'm sure many of you heard today, 2018-2019 BLSJCL Board elections are coming up on June 5th.

Firstly, information on all offices can be found in the BLSJCL Constitution.

Next, there will be an info session on May 29th in Room 225. If you don't think you know enough about the offices, are on the fence, or simply want to learn more about the board I highly recommend going.

Voting for President, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, and Secretary will be on Tuesday, June 5th. Please come even if you don't plan on running for an office. It's always good to be present, and hear the speeches and plans of your future board. Each member of BLSJCL has a vote and we hope most of you choose to use yours!

If you are running for either President, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, or Secretary please fill out this form to confirm your interest. Please prepare a speech that is no longer than 2 minutes and be prepared to participate in a brief Q&A. I highly recommend dressing as if it were declamation on June 5th after school in the Auditorium.

If you are running for Publications Editor, Historian, Webmaster, or Publicity Director you must submit your composition to Ms. Moguel by 2:20 on Monday, June 11th. For more information on what each composition is, check here. If you are running for Publications Editor, Historian, or Webmaster please fill out this google form to confirm your interest in running.

If you are running for Publicity, Spirit Coordinator, Community Service Coordinator, Classics Department Liaison, or Officer at Large please fill out this application by June 11th at 2:20 PM.

To recap,
May 29th: Info session on offices in Rm 225
June 5th: Elections in auditorium after school
June 11th by 2:20 PM: Compositions and applications due
