What is National Convention?
The NJCL Convention is the largest and perhaps the most anticipated event of the year in the Junior Classical League! An entire year's work and celebration of the classics gather at a college campus (all JCL delegations of the United States and Canada). Every year, students return or join in the joyous week filled with competition, camaraderie, and JCLove. Many BLSJCLers compete in various events (Certamen included) and officers of the BLSJCL compete in their respective categories. In addition to competitions, National Convention offers a great opportunity to meet many like minded individuals from across the country. Many friendships (some lifelong) are forged here. BLSJCL joins our fellow Massachusites as the Massachusetts delegation, where we share our regional bond through Spirit and Fellowships to enrich our total growth as BLSJCL and as MassJCL!
For more information, check out the NJCL Website to learn more about the contests and the organization as a whole.

NJCL Convetion Resources
2016-2017 NJCL Communications Coordinator Shay Pezzulo created this great convention resource for general information and guide for prospective and returning attendees. Although this guide was intended for the 2017 Convention, much of the information provided generally applies to the 2018 Convention.
